Mai's Cottage jungle feeling

The cottage is a three double bedroom detached house with a swimming pool and a lovely and varied garden.

It is situated in Vela Rudina village, just two kilometers away from Stari Grad, on the island of Hvar.

The exterior of the property consists of a terrace, a courtyard with outdoor seating, a pool with the a deck, a large garden and outside fire place / bbq. The interior of the house consists of a kitchen with dining area and living room, a wshroom and one of the bedrooms. An exterior staircase leads up on first floor where there are two bedrooms and a washroom.

Sustainability is our goal, and we have a water tank for collecting rain water, which is used for watering the garden. There is a bio-waste collector in the garden for compost production.

The property is perfect for those who seek to be connected with nature and to fully absorb the energy of plants, and the sun and stars. It's been soul rejuvenating for many who have stayed with us.

If you are looking for an active holiday or just want to have fun, the area offers plenty of possibilities to hike, bike, dive, swim, kayak, trek, run and the like. You can easily get one of the many excursions available on Hvar as well.

The size of the pool is 6.3m x 4.5m, and it is tiled with Sukabumi stone.

There is air-conditioning in all indoor spaces.

The ground floor of the house was thoroughly renovated in 2026.

One of the features of the property is its beautiful evolving botanical garden, home to hundreds of different plants , including citrus trees, yuccas, cypresses, more than 20 varieties of palm trees and many others.
